Meet the Farmers

We are a family-run flower farm set in San Diego’s beautiful Highland Valley wine country. It was a dream come true when we purchased our farm in 2020. Dotted with native oaks, mountain views, and acres of avocado trees, we were prepared to become avocado farmers. After drilling a well, we realized that the thirsty roots of our avocado groves required more water than we could provide. With some reluctance, we began the process of renovating our land. Meanwhile, the dahlia garden I planted was thriving. I became obsessed with ordering and planting seeds, discovering new varieties of unusual, hard-to-find blooms. One by one, my husband cut trees, and two by two, I planted rows of flowers. The next season our garden had tripled in size. And I discovered the joy of sharing these incredible blooms with others.
